30 Before 30

Inspired by many bloggers before me, I have decided to try out a 30 before 30 list. I have until December 12, 2014 to complete this list. What happens if I fail? Nothing. What happens if I succeed? I eat a cupcake. The point is not necessary to finish. The point is to try and push myself to be better, be daring, be different. Wish me well!

  15. Complete a month-long Spending Freeze
  16. Survive a 48 hour technological blackout — no computer. no phone. no tv.
  17. Send a handwritten card/thank you note once a month for a year – FAILED
  18. Organize my desks and keep them that way – January 2014
  19. Go on a vacation alone
  20. Present at a professional conference – Done! Presented on February 12, 2014
  21. Eat vegan for 1 month
  22. Learn to change a flat tire
  23. Learn to jump a car
  24. Keep a plant alive for at least 1 month
  25. Start and complete 3 craft projects
  26. Take one photograph every day for a month – February, 2014 (failed…trying again later in the year)
  27. Develop and stick to an exercise routine by birthday (because your body will never get better)
  28. Send out every birthday card I intend to for an entire year
  29. REDACTED: Wear earrings 50% of the time (chronic hives make it SUPER uncomfortable to wear earrings)
  30. ADDED: Try contradancing
  31. REDACTED: Paint nails twice per month (and feel like a lady, damnit!) (I am terrible at this)
  32. ADDED: Go without alcohol for 40 days
  33. REDACTED: Shave my legs every week  (chronic hives have render this an unhealthy choice)
